Defence IQ are delighted to announce the launch of our very first South American based event. COPONA 2009, The Pan American Naval Power conference, will be the America’s leading naval event, designed to facilitate the burgeoning relationship between regional navies and international capability providers.

Building on the success of our flagship European based events: Offshore Patrol Vessels and Future Naval Plans, this new venue and concept will allow us to explore in detail the issues that are specific to Pan-American naval procurement and development of sea power. By taking on board the local needs in terms of what naval platforms need to provide, how they are built and equipped, how they will fit into their operational roles, we will provide both military and industry participants with an unprecedented amount of knowledge on how they can do business together.
